The Friends of Waterton’s Wall is a charity focussing on the wall that surrounds the first nature reserve in the world. Our charitable object, summarised, is to preserve the historic and architectural heritage of the wall and its immediate vicinity surrounding what was Charles Waterton’s parkland in Walton; and to educate the general public in its architecture, geography, natural and social history.
