Anna Newport

Anna Newport is the founder of Newport Land and Law and Inspired Progress Limited, who provide property law advice to the general public and to other legal professionals.

Self-confessed middle-aged solicitor, Anna has nearly 30 years’ experience in her field as a practitioner.  She also teaches other people about property law, writes courses and reviews books for the Law Society, has worked closely with the Land Registry in developing their electronic registration offering and frequently contributes articles to magazines in the property field.  Occasionally she sits down for a cup of tea.

Although they work across England and Wales, both Newport Land and Law and Inspired Progress are very firmly based at the Nostell Estate in the glorious rural heart of the Wakefield community.

Anna returns to the panel for the second year after enjoying her stint as a judge in 2023.
