We Are Wakefield members and first timers will enjoy breakfast, networking and hearing from key speakers: Richard Hammill of Pontefract Racecourse and Ed Anderson CBE – HM Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire.

You will also have the opportunity to join a behind- the -scenes tour of the racecourse after the event at 11.30am.

Free parking will be available at the venue and marshalls will direct you on the day :

Attendees to park in the picnic enclosure following the signs for “Hug A Mug”.

All attendees to enter via the Premier Entrance and the event will be taking place in the Park Site and Premier Dining Room.

By bus

Buses regularly run from Pontefract, Leeds and Castleford to the racecourse. The bus stops are on Park Road near to the Racecourse and the Park Road Retail Park. The following services stop here:

By train

Pontefract Tanshelf railway station is more or less opposite the entrance to the Park.

Trains run direct from Leeds, Wakefield Westgate, Wakefield Kirkgate and Knottingley on the Pontefract Line
