This year’s Festive First Friday takes us to Waterton Park Hotel with festive fun from Rhubarb Radio!
Festivities begin at 1.30pm with a glass of fizz and a festive afternoon tea.
Rhubarb Radio Breakfast Show host Ian “Jaffa” Jefferson will be hosting the event with some Christmas tunes and festive frolics!
We’ll have some live vocals from the talented Jenna Fan of Fanfare Music.
Jenna is a musician based in Ossett. She teaches piano at the Fanfare Music school, performs as a member of The Bondurants, writes songs and leads choirs and singing workshops. She believes in the power of music to heal, grow and relieve everyday stresses. Join Jenna for a fun, no pressure, Christmas singalong – no experience required!

We are excited to announce the following walk as warm up to party time at the Waterton Park Hotel on Friday 6 December. This event is organised by the Friends of Waterton’s Wall in partnership with We are Wakefield.
Time: 11:30am
Duration: approximately 90 minutes – plenty of time to don your Xmas jumper!
Come prepared for rough ground and the vagaries of the British weather. Long trousers recommended.
