Join us for the inaugural We Are Wakefield Manufacturing Forum, bringing together manufacturers from across the district for a focused and meaningful discussion on the future of the sector.
We are delighted to welcome Tony Reeves, Chief Executive of Wakefield Council, who will provide insight into the recent changes within the council and what these developments mean for manufacturers in the Wakefield district.
This interactive session offers attendees the opportunity to:
- Gain key updates directly from local leadership
- Submit questions in advance
- Take part in open discussion during the session
- Share challenges, ideas, and opportunities with peers
Please note: This event is strictly for manufacturers only. It is open to manufacturing members of We Are Wakefield, as well as other Wakefield district manufacturers attending for the first time as a taster session.

Can anyone attend this event?
No, sorry. This event is for MANUFACTURERS only. Other sectors/businesses will not be permitted to attend unless by special invitation.
Do you have to be a We Are Wakefield member to attend?
No. If you are a Wakefield based manufacturer, you can attend as a First Time Taster Session for £12.50 + VAT but you will be asked to join the WAW Manufacturers Forum after your first session if you wish to attend further sessions.
Please note that future Forum events will take place quarterly 9am to 11am.
