More Than a Choir. A Community.

Welcome to the We Are Wakefield Pop Choir, a fun, friendly and uplifting gathering where We Are Wakefield members come together to sing, laugh and connect.

You do not need any previous singing experience. In fact, many of our regular members proudly claim they “can’t sing”!

This isn’t about perfection, auditions or solos. It’s about taking an hour out of your week to boost your mood, meet fellow members and experience the power of collective joy through singing.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or someone who only sings in the shower or the car, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you.

Led by the Brilliant Jenna Fan

The choir is run by the incredibly talented Jenna Fan of Fanfare Music, whose infectious enthusiasm, expertise and encouragement make every session a highlight of the week.

Jenna creates a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable joining in, having fun and discovering that singing together is about so much more than hitting the right notes.

Who Can Join?

Any We Are Wakefield member.

There are no auditions, no experience requirements and no expectations beyond turning up and giving it a go. The only thing you need to bring is a willingness to join in and enjoy yourself.

What to Expect

Each session is relaxed, energetic and full of encouragement. Together we learn popular songs, enjoy the buzz of group singing and leave feeling uplifted, inspired and connected.

Many members arrive convinced they can’t sing.

Most leave wondering why they didn’t join sooner.

£10 per session – pay as you go.

Join us every Friday (except First Friday of the month) from 9:00am to 10:00am and discover that singing is about joy, not perfection. If you can’t make it every week, that’s fine! We understand that business comes first.
